Giving tokens their own unique copy of the main character sheet used.

Hello. I asked if there was a way to do this in the help section, but there doesn't appear to be. What I am suggesting is to be able to make a character sheet and any token on the board assigned to it, will use their own unique copy of that sheet. Opening the sheet from that token will bring you a copy of the sheet, so you can edit things like health, armour, inventory, and such like and it will only apply to that one token that uses that sheet. I am playing the Cyberpunk 2020 game and I find that even with copy paste grunts, using one character sheet amongst them is not quite enough. I can edit their health using the token pop ups, but things like armour (Which uses different slots for different parts of the body) can't really be done that way, as well as things like inventory. If a guard say has a weapon, and there's several of him in the map, my suggestion will allow you to loot that weapon from that one token only and the rest keep theirs. For that, as it is now, players and myself have to remember or take notes elsewhere of which token has been looted. There are other things that could benefit from this I think in general it would be a nice thing. I am not suggesting this just for Cyberpunk, but I don't think it could hurt if all games allowed it. Perhaps, for those who wish so it doesn't mess up their current games, it could be a togglable option if tokens have their own unique copy or not. Maybe have it so editing the main sheet, doesn't apply any changes to the tokens but the changes will be seen on a newly dragged in token. Perhaps there could be a setting that resets all tokens to the main sheets settings too. I would like to avoid having to make copies of a character, clogging up the journal entries, and then making sure each token is attached to the correct copy.

What you CAN do if all your grunts have the same attributes: drag a linked token to the VTT and change every linked attribute that is subjected to change (like HP) to "NONE". Save this edited token as the new default... This way, you can edit those directly in the token WITHOUT it changing for every token there is... Having multiple copies of the same sheet would clog up the journal way too much...

If you have a token linked to a sheet you want to use multiple copies of, do the following: drag the token to the vtt In Token settings UNLINK those bars you want to change (HP / MP / AC / ...), just set those to NONE SAVE the edited token as default Edit things that need to be changed per token on the token itself. Done that multiple times, works like a charm. Xeg said: TheMarkus1204 said: Having multiple copies of the same sheet would clog up the journal way too much... This is exactly what I want to avoid. Problem is though, those tokens won't fit all the separate armour sections in them. Only on the character sheet can I really do that, but of course I want to edit only one grunt at a time not all at once. I could condense all the armour into on number and use it as an overall body cover, which I'm not keen on doing. But might end up having to. I could GM notes it, but that is a bit out of the way, and only I can see it it seems.

Hi Xeg,  I'd be interested in figuring out some options for you. So as not to detract from this thread w ould you mind messaging me and explaining how the armor rules work for your game?
