I am logged into roll20 and dont have to re authenticate when closing and reopening the browser Let me know if you have any ideas. we pushed our campgain off till tomorrow so hopefully we can find an anser by then. Thanks guys!
Ok I think i know what might be going on. I ran chrome as a different user and when i tried using hangouts with roll20 i was asked to authenticate by logging into my gmail account. I changed my password the other day as a precaution because of all the gmail leaked info. so i think it is trying to use my old password when it authenticates. How can i get it to reprompt for the password?

I suggest clearing passwords and cookies in addition to clearing your cache.
yes I tried that last night also, but now that i think about it i may have only left it for "this past hour" when i get home i'll try again and select "the beginning of time" thanks for the suggestion and hopefully it was an error on my part. I will post back with the results
