My long ass title conveys the jist of it but I will share a bit about myself and my partner and what we are hoping to find in a game/other players/GM. I am a 32 yr old female and he is a 31 year old male , we both are newish to DnD and tabletop gaming in general but been interested in mythology, scifi, and fantasy basically our entire lives. When I was younger I used to do online literate roleplay so getting in character is not a foreign experience for me. So I'm mostly interested in learning to play DnD or the Dragon Age TTRPG right now but I would like to eventually play Shadowrun and Cyberpunk and am open to other games as well.. I'm a little familiar with some lore and geography of DnD as I am currently playing BG3 and we both have played the first two games as well and also Neverwinter Nights. We recognize that playing a tabletop game is a different experience from a PC game but we both have wanted to branch out into TTRPGS and meet some new people with similar interests whether that takes place online or through a local meet up! (We live in Berkeley, CA) I enjoy playing evil aligned characters I know not everyone wants to play evil characters though so I am open to discussing how to go about playing that way with others who are of a different alignment. Another thing I am hoping to find is other people who are interested in incorporating horror themes to the game in an actual skin crawling kind of way not so much of an over the top gimmicky horror humor way. Queer players and characters are most welcome! The only people I will not play with are children and teens under 18. Anyways.
