Read down in the section about using a single Gmail account for multiple Roll20 accounts. If you are using any Plus or Pro features, only the Game Creator needs a paid Roll20 subscription. All of the other players will get the benefits of the single paid subscription (Dynamic Lighting, Mod scripts, etc.). There’s so little downside to having a separate player account (or multiple) - the only downside is having to log in to another account. There are a lot of benefits to having a separate account (listed in the Dummy Account wiki above).
