The video mentioned having an option to convert sheets to this new format. Will users still be able to use the normal paper sheets instead of this digital layout? Having character sheets that match the paper sheets we all use at our home table is one of the most appealing parts of Roll20!

Having character sheets that match the paper sheets we all use at our home table is one of the most appealing parts of Roll20! I was going to say the same. I appreciate the effort of a new sheet - but there is something so iconic about the D&D character sheet, I’m loathed to change it
Personally I am stoked for the new character sheet, don't mind switching it up at all as long as it makes sense. My biggest hope for the new character sheet is that there will be a more intuitive and useful inventory, as well as some help for keeping track of attunement, players always ask me about that.

Just a note about how I handle Attunement on the current D&D 5e by Roll20, I put "(A)" in the name of the item if it requires attunement. A player can only have 3 items with (A) in it checkmarked at a time.

I add an inventory item of "-------------------------------", and place attuned items above that. Also, placing a non-space, non-numerical character in front of a weight value keeps the weight from geistering. So if you have a 20lb. tent in your B ag of holding, listing the weight as "b20" keeps it from being counted.

Or you can uncheck the item and have the settings set where unchecked items do not have weight counted. :)

Lots of ways to handle it.
These are all great inventory ideas that I hope Roll20 could implement natively onto a new sheet without too much hassle. I use some of these or similar trick for inventory but I also have ~40 players a week and if it could be standardized without my oversight that would be a game changer.
