Virtual tavern/lobby for players and gms currently available.

This is an additional way to help gms meet more players and for players to meet gms who are online and ready to play a game now, or just a way to make new friends.  When you click to enter the virtual lobby/tavern the screen would show a medieval tavern with all the tokens currently in the tavern. Users start at the bar of the tavern, Additionally the virtual tavern has tables with tokens around them of everyone who is at that table. The tables would be like individual chat rooms. All tokens show the users profile picture and have a link to their  roll20 account page  bio info section just like in the forums.  W hen at the bar in the virtual  tavern your chat window would display any invites you get to join a table. Roll20 PRO members can start a table{mini chat room} by clicking on the empty table. Hovering the mouse over a table tells  who created it and any details  about the table the creator has entered. This could be a  proposed  game info just like the pickup game section has, or  table info could display a topic that the creator wanted to talk about, or just plain table name "tieflings only" or "John's table sit and chat" GMs or the person who starts the table can invite people from the bar (players) with a personalized  invitation  to join their table. People at the bar (players) can send  personalized  requests  to be invited to the table  to the GM (or whoever started the table) . If 2+ people are at a table it turns on the voice chat and chat bar for the table and they can talk and/or type to each other. Players could leave table and block the host or other tavern members if they want and gms could kick people from their table. So users could self moderate (just as gms self moderate in the games they have now) .  If someone is not active or does not respond to automated prompt every  20 mins they get auto bounced from the virtual  tavern so it will only have active people in it and not just a bunch of spammy tables.

I like it. This is another idea in a lonnnnng series of User Suggestions for Roll20 to implement better Meet-Ups and Player :: Game matching. This would help with scheduling, availability, and meeting people for diversity around the world who happen to be available at the same Time regardless of their time-zone.  Whether it's this exact idea or not, Roll20 has opportunity to do more with matching Players / Schedules / Game Openings. The nearest to this idea currently is the Pick-Up-Games section, and as it stands now, any GM could make an Open Tavern for Meeting Up and list it in the PUG's.
yes i thought about doing that with a pick up game , but it would fall off the pick up games section every 30 mins, and 20+ people in one voice chat would be chaos  Gold said: I like it. I agree, and you're right, although you can Disable the Voice Chat if you want everyone to be in the Text Chat of a Roll20 PUG.  Still, +1 i support the general direction of your concept. Connecting more gamers to games is the great frontier for Roll20 that I foresee.
