Hello, my group is looking for an experienced GM to run VtM V20 or V5. We have six players in our group who are all generally very experienced and capable. We are looking for a gm that can incorporate much of the source material into a game while keeping the focus on gritty personal horror and political maneuvering. -The game will take place in New York City, Long Island, and northern New Jersey during the modern nights . -The GM should be able to incorporate other splats as necessary when they might come up. Hauntings, Risen, or even a wandering magi, etc should be a threat to the party that can potentially come up. Knowledge on the lore should be kept cynical and vague, the book does mention this but many GMs take Caine and the origin of vampires as fact. Discovering bits of lore that we don't already know from the book would be very fun. -We have played at least two games in the past in New York, after informing the GM of the characters involved they should incorporate that information into the playthrough, either by having some of these characters appear or rumors of the events that have already passed. -The GM should be well versed in Kumu or a similar site for setting up diagrams showing the characters that we have encountered. Keeping track of other NPCs behind the scenes while we maneuver around the political scene is a plus. -We are a narrative driven group more than anything else, expect us to spend significant amounts of time talking with people or scheming instead of fighting. Small slice of life scenes while we are still young and have our humanity is also something that we enjoy. Random characters such as a bar owner or a hobo reoccurring or holding interesting conversation with our characters is a plus. -Above all else the game should be difficult and we as a coterie should feel overwhelmed by the complexity of the scheming and politics around us. Danger should lurk in every corner no punches should be held. Dealing with the unknown and lack of information is great and discovering the world around us and just how it works is also fun. We are all looking to play as neonates who are well out of their depth. Along with conventional camarilla politics other factions should be conspiring in the city. Baali infiltrators, Sabbot cells, mortal factions, etc should all be making moves behind the scenes. -Knowledge on how to use midjourney to generate NPC images on the fly is a plus . -We are available on Sundays, sometimes Saturday nights if Sunday doesn't work. Each session should last 4-6 hours. We are looking to pay the GM $50 each week. Communications are primarily done through discord. -This is an 18+ game and adult themes are more than welcome. The price is negotiable, and once we get some applicants we are happy to speak to you to get a better feel for your GMing ability
