Hello! I'm a novice player/DM looking for a group running medium-to-long medievalesque campaigns (nothing cyberpunk-y or steampunk-y). I'm here as a player not as a DM. I'm alright with combat and tactical gameplay but I lack a fair amount in the roleplay department- gotta start somewhere! About myself I'm a 22 year old history student (he/him) with... time to spend. Been more of a DM across multiple accounts but they never got too far, the usual. I'd like to learn more about being a player character, and to better my roleplay (well, learn how to really). I'm decently easy-going, open to new things and I'd like to think myself as a friendly guy^^ Some pointers - Mainly looking for live play (voice chat) with visual aid (maps, battlemaps, tokens etc) on the site. I can do text-only as well. - Rule of Cool > Rule as Written. I'm not looking to be glued to rule books- to an extent of course. - I'm down for homebrew campaigns and official campaigns! - I'd consider myself more of a 60/40 or 70/30 player at the moment (Combat/Roleplay scale) - If possible, I'd like to avoid spending cash at the moment so this means if needed I wouldn't be up to acquiring Roll20 or DNDBeyond books. Not sure if this makes a difference on Roll20 as a player. - LGBTQ+ tolerance is appreciated - I'm in GMT+2 timezone - Free most days and time slots (we can discuss details) [P.S. I can't account for unforeseen changes] To close off, I think I've said most of everything. If you've questions shoot me a message on Roll20, write it down below or otherwise add me on discord: red_primrose Hope we can adventure together!
