Maps In The Journal

I would like to be able to publish multiple maps to the journal, which users would be able to select on their own for reference.  For example, I might have a regional map, with settings that make the measure tool work properly on it, and be able to put scribbles and tokens on it.  The players should be able to access this or any other map in their journal on their own, between sessions. I propose that if I global-ping on the player-flag map, that players have their journal map closed and are returned to the player-flag map, but otherwise the players are free to open journal maps whenever they want.  Players would "close" the journal map and then would see the player-flag map. Perhaps just as with character sheets, I could publish journal maps only to certain players, so they could reference information that they know but which other players don't.
