Rise of the RuneLords and Pathfinder 1st Ed

Hi, I am thinking of getting the RoR game for PF1st but I have a few questions for anyone who has used the resources here. RoR is PF1 but there are no direct rules in Roll20 I assume RoR is self contained, so all monsters, tokens and campaign specific items are in the journal like tomb of a which I have previously run for DnD. But are generic items which are in the campaign also in the journal?  Say a potion of cure moderate wounds.  The reason I ask is that it's handy to be able to drag and drop items off the journal into character sheets rather than having to type it all out. Which brings me to the next question.  How complete are the online PF rules to take characters to the end of the campaign?  Are the free basic rules complete enough for anything created and run out of the main PF1st book? Then there is the question of what is Savage Pathfinder?  It has a core rules but how different is that to normal PF1?  Is it worth getting for the journal or is it not compatible? Cheers everyone
I have been running a PF1e campaign here on Roll20 for the past 6 months and the Pathfinder Reference Document (PFRD) is available for free, through the online compendium. You can drag and drop spells, feats, and mundane items from there. I believe the PFRD covers the classes, spells, and feats from the core rulebook and I has the spells from the Advanced Players Guide. Possibly the feats from there too.  But, no magic items. It also has pretty much all the monsters from Bestiary 1 to 6. Just no art. The Rise of the Runelords module has all the magic items that appear in that adventure as handouts, but not as compendium items that can be dropped onto a character sheet and populated accordingly. The user will need to manually adjust these. It also has all the maps, art, tokens, handouts, etc. Assuming your restricted the character building options to what's available in PFRD, yeah, you could run the entire AP. But, if you have players who want to add options that appear elsewhere, then you will need to manually adjust their character sheets to account for non-core rulebook options. Not difficult to do, by the way. Can't speak to Savage Pathfinder.
Hi, thanks for that.  Shame about the magic items, that's such a handy feature. Limiting the characters is also about not scaring or confusing them at the beginning.  I've got pf character software covering all the books and its just massive
Yeah. Drag and drop magic items would have been really helpful, but I was quite surprised at how much content was pushed to the free compendium. I would have expected Bestiary 1, but not all 6 of them! I had never run or played PF1e prior to 6 months ago, so a core rulebook only campaign was perfect for me. There are more than enough options in the compendium for creative players to build an interesting character. At least, I think so.  Best f luck to you!
