Hey everyone! A buddy of mine has asked me if I can run a game for him, as he hasn't had the chance to be a player recently and is looking to do so. So we are currently looking for THREE additional folks that want to dive headfirst into a fun, narrative-driven experience. A little about me. I have been playing this wonderful game for nigh on 16 years at this point, mostly as a DM, but occasionally as a player when my friends allow it, lol. I love telling stories and involving player characters in the narrative of the game, as well as exploring personal character stories as we play. A little about my friend. He's been playing since 2019, and loves playing RP heavy characters that put the story first. We both love doing voices and sticking to characters as best we can, though at times things can get a little silly. We aren't 100% sure what campaign we are doing at the moment. We're leaning toward homebrew, but we are also open to running modules if folks are more comfortable with that! For now, we are just looking to gauge interest. The game would be run entirely online through Roll20, using Discord for voice, though you would be more than welcome to use DnDBeyond for your character sheets if that is more comfortable to you! I am from America, while he is from the UK, so our time zones are a little wacky. Right now, we are looking at a 12pm (CST)/6pm (GMT+1) start, and having the game run for four hours-ish. The only days we are unable to play are Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. But any other day works! We understand that finding random players can be daunting, and you don't know if you'll be a good fit for the group or their playstyle. Fear not, to find out if we are a good fit for each other, I will be running a short, mini-campaign I wrote that will test the waters before we jump into the actual campaign.
