Hello Gauss, not sure you will be notified of this message but there is no cost to try. I used your macro, adding it to my existing D&D 5e by Roll20 as a New Ability under the tab you mentioned. However when clicking on the macro, and even with the correct character selected it doesn't work. Gauss said: If so, this will solve it for you: @{selected|wtype}&{template:simple} {{rname=^{init-u}}} {{mod=@{selected|initiative_bonus}}} {{r1=[[@{selected|initiative_style}+1d8+@{selected|initiative_bonus}@{selected|pbd_safe}[INIT] &{tracker}]]}} {{normal=1}} @{selected|charname_output} You can put that in an Ability on the Attributes and Abilities tab on your Character. I tried with selected and with my character name, in both case I got the same string of error (minus the fact that it either say selected or the character name, and s or w for the last message: No character was found for 'Wyatt Son' No character was found for 'Wyatt Son' No character was found for 'Wyatt Son' No character was found for 'Wyatt Son' No character was found for 'Wyatt Son' No character was found for 'Wyatt Son' SyntaxError: Expected "(", ".", "[", "abs(", "ceil(",. "d", "floor(", "round(", "t", "{", [ INt], [+1\-] or [O-9] but "W" found If selected was left (as I used the first time ), then the same messages are displayed, as mentioned : No character was found for 'selected' SyntaxError: Expected "(", ".", "[", "abs(", "ceil(", "d", "floor(", "round(", "t", "{", [ |\t], [+|\-] or [0-9] but "s" found. I can only figure that the 6 first messages are corresponding to the 6 initial mentions of the character in the macro. But I cannot figure why it is not fetching the information properly. Let me know if I can provide anything else to help you. And thank you for having taking the time to read me. Best, Salias, alias Wyatt in the Curse of Strahd campaign
