Hey all, I'm a play therapist and I use the Hero Kids system a lot with my clients. There's an existing sheet available but all of the images are missing. I tried contacting the developer but got no response. While I've tried to fix it, I don't know enough about CSS, HTML, or frankly website development to make the changes stick. I have images for everything that are open source. If someone could help me upload them and get them to stick, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Made a few more changes; - mainly removed most of the checkboxes, (they are there but hidden) Just click the images to toggle. - I also added a button roll to equipment items to post the description and a dice roll. Seems like the equipment page is little wonky with the 4 non-repeating items. I noticed some naming inconsistencies between attribute names and title text. I've tried to fix those as well. I feel they should be completely removed and simply use the repeating items...

Oh my gosh! Did you take out the check boxes and make it so you can just click on the images? That is fantastic! I'm not sure I'm following what's happening with the ability die buttons. Can you explain that a little bit more? I think your thoughts about the equipment page are fine. I think the original designer put those in to give examples of what magic items can look like. They're not part of the core rules. They are a supplement. I don't think I've ever used them, but someone might. Is here a way to give this a test run? Right now, the original sheet is still showing on my end.

So Ability checks should be a 1d6 base + 1d6 for the ability (str, dex, or int) plus any extra dice for skills, ability, equipment, etc. Please correct me if I'm wrong. So, the dice next to the Ability roll button is the Ability die. I made the ability die "checked" (ie enabled), by default, but they are only used for the Ability Check rolls. They will also include any other dice that are enabled as well. Just click the images to enable/disable. Attacks only include the top row dice. It was difficult to include an ability roll and make it look "intuitive" without making a completely new row below the Attack row. I'm open for ideas. This should go live tomorrow depending on Roll20's schedule... here's the latest version as of 5/21/24' am

You're correct about the way the ability works. I liked the look of it without the die next to it that you sent me in DM but I think you solution makes it clearer how it works mechanically. Here's a thought: Can you make the sword, bow, and magic icons on the left the attack buttons and the ability modifier icon with the plus next to it the ability button?

Brian H. said: Here's a thought: Can you make the sword, bow, and magic icons on the left the attack buttons and the ability modifier icon with the plus next to it the ability button? That sounds like a great idea. Would there ever be a time when the ability die (str, dex, int) would not be included in the Ability check dice pool? Not sure if I can get that changed before the next update, but I'll work it in.

Also, the dice pools work like advantage in D&D 5E. You roll multiple dice and whichever die is highest is the result. So for example, if I had 2d6 in ranged and needed to make a Dexterity check, I would roll 3d6. If I rolled a 2, 4, and 5, the 5 would be my result.
