Looking for Group: New Solo Player (CET timezone)

I just joined the site and I want to play DnD for the first time. I heard 5e is beginner friendly. Im looking for someone/anyone to accept me into their group and show me the ropes of the game.  I did check other already opened threads here but I dont think Im a quite good fit for any of them, so I decided to try and be open like this. In regards to VC, I could do it, but I prefer not to, because Im self concious of the background and disruptive noise that could be heard, whether it be a dogs barking or family talking stuff. Thats why I prefer to be on mute, although I may use VC a bit when I feel my surroundings are quiet enough to respect the game. In regards to gaming time, my best time is anything post 14:30 because thats when my morning shift ends. My work colleague is a bit unreliable so I have to step in and I never have a proper week of just morning or afternoon shift. For now I do have free Sundays(at least before the tourist season starts). So this might be much to ask, but if a group is flexible with dumb work time, I'd be most grateful. I dont know if theres anything I neglected to mention, but Im willing to reply if you have questions. Im just really excited and maybe desperate to play this for the first time
What are you looking for a campaign or just some experience
A classic D&D experience of an adventure to put it in its simplest form. Thats what I hope for a campaign. Something to get me into its world and experience some adventure. But also I hope to gain actual knowledge about the game. I mean, I know some stuff just from looking things online, I know about the races and classes. But again,I cant say I know everything. I know that you mostly listen to the DM, you roleplay and do your thing when s/he gives you the cue. Roll dice for certain checks and occassionally get into combat. Thats pretty much my view on how its played. Now whether Im close or far off, well... I dont know xD
