Right-Clicking does nothing

there are many references in the documentation and general controls of the roll20 editor that says to right click and drag to pan or right click to bring up advanced menu. Currently I am right clicking in the editor and none of these things are happening. I have tested my mouse, so I know the right click is working on my end. I am using Roll20 in the chrome browser on a windows 8 laptop.

What do you get when you right click? Which tool is currently selected? Is this a laptop or a tablet-laptop hybrid?
Another question that comes to mind, Are you the gm of the campaign? If not most of the options are not available to you.

Good point, thank you for that Roger. :)
I am the GM, I started the campaign and I've been editing on the background layer quite a bit. It is just a laptop, no tablet or touchscreen. and absolutely nothing has been happening when I right click. It feels like the clicks aren't registering or are being ignored.

Shirou , which tool are you on? Could you provide a screenshot? Finally, please go to https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues and follow the steps.
Thanks for your help, Gauss. I followed the troubleshooting tips and discovered that my Snap-Links extension (an add-on that uses the left click exclusively) was interfering with it. I didn't even consider my add-ons would be an issue. Thank you!
