Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: CST (Central Standard Time) Schedule: Sunday - Monday open availability until 8pm. Wednesday - Friday open availability until 8pm. Roles sought: Players. I can comfortably DM for 4 to 5 players. Game style: Roleplay, Combat, dungeon crawling, Exploration. Paid $15 Me (the DM) and two other players are still looking for three more players. I am looking for more players to join my game. I will be running adventure modules selected by players. And they will take place in the realm of Theros. An official dnd setting by Wizards of the Coast with a heavy inspiration from Helenism beliefs of ancient greece. Instead of Lost Mines of Phandelver taking place in Phandalin, the game may focus on Odunos and Wave Echo Cave might be located within Deathbellow Canyon. Why should you join this game? Well let me ask you this: Do you enjoy digital handouts for things like magic items? Do you like the ability to reach out to your DM at literally any time ever and know that he will respond in a timely manner? Do you enjoy a DM who isn't afraid to continue running adventures modules and adjusting them to fit the parties current level providing appropriate challenges and fun? Do you enjoy having your backstory matter, to have your backstory explored in between adventures? If your answer to any of these questions was "Yes" then you should join Tales of the Sword Coast today. I take great pride in flexibility with my style of DMing. I will adjust adventure modules so that my players get an adventure experience that has a perfect balance of "by the book" and altered. I also host a free session 0 and a free first session. Here is an example I included in my previous run of LMoP. The BBEG is supposed to be a drow with 4 giant spiders accompanying him in a room. Just waiting there. Menacingly. Instead I analyzed how my party handled previous threats. They took a red wizard's lunch money at old owl well. They molly wopped Glasstaff so bad that the Redbrands scattered for the hills. And they took Cragmaw Castle with only one slight hiccup (a player got cocky and took on a group of hob goblins and goblins by himself). So for the final fight I upgraded the drow to be a drider. But I altered an item. The staff he carried. Atop the staff were four glass orbs. I roleplayed it so that at the start of each of the spider's turn he would speak to one of those orbs and the giant spider would enact his will. After a difficult boss fight the wizard got the idea to steal the staff. With a good strength roll on his side and a failed opposing strength check from the BBEG he was able to pull the staff out of his hand and misty step away. With the BBEG being last in initiative the wizard used the remaining spider to turn them against the drider while the druid healed everyone else. These changes were something my players enjoyed thoroughly. It gave them a fun and memorable boss fight. And its something that a couple of them still talk about. I also added onto the magic loot found within the dungeon. At the end of the dungeon the forge was only intended to have 2 magic items left. I added in a couple so that none of my players felt left out. Below are examples of the two default magic items that could be found in that dungeon that I made digital handouts for using the Eventyr program: If you are interested in joining or if you have further questions feel free to add me on discord at Fritz#7638. I hope to hear from you very soon, have a good day, and thank you for reading to this point.
