Alternative Vampire: the Masquarade V20 charsheet (beta)

Hi everyone! After multiple sessions with OG v20 charsheet I understood pack of features I've been missing in it (and some other sheets too), so I've created alternative charsheet for v20, mostly aiming for: - better available space usage - good both dark and light themes - faster combat and faster sheet interactions - backwards compatibility with OG v20 sheet This is non-commercial project, no intent to earn something is there - just want to give back to the community. Link to try: https://app.roll20.net/join/17219183/6Dnrew sources: https://github.com/Jabher/vtm-better-sheet It is my first sheet, so will appreciate a lot on feedback. Specifically looking for - beta users (as I'm good developer but not very good player, and can implement some math stuff wrong - and man, there's a lot of math!) - advice on how to share it with community and if it is possible to add it to official charsheet list - improvement hints - some decisions are not the best and can be improved - translators (as I was only able to provide one translation) Now, a bit more about sheet itself and its features - Rolls are available to almost everything, with roll icon made non-disturbing for mouse outside of blocks. Moreover - dice icons even show the roll value (or, for initiative, roll bonus) - Celerity and Potence, as very special disciplines, are used in ton of math here and there. They are detected automatically from Discipline list (with small icon and hint about this feature). To reduce complexity, their names are provided as auto-completition (taking translation into account) in Discipline names Specifically for combat, if you use Celerity and Potence, you can input how much blood you spent in them (they will only show if disciplines are linked), and they will be taken into account in rolls - and when you roll new initiative, those values will reset to 0. - When your attack deals damage, damage roll is done automatically. Also, rolls are looking super cool in chat sidebar (actual numbers will reveal on hover). And initiative looks very fancy too - Maneuvers are pre-configured, weapons have presets (select type from autocomplete and it will fill everything). Moreover, you can select current weapon and it will be taken into account in rolls! - XP tracker to keep important stuff. Date will be set automatically - Path sins are pre-filled based on current locale. Moreover, only current sins are highlighted, reminding of humanity levels you lost. Also, Humanity/path header is an input, so after editing it it makes experience feel seamless. and lots of smaller features - e.g. when you set generation, max blood pool and blood per turn will be pre-configured, health input is now way better, and so on and so on

Looks like a great sheet. You can simply create a "beta" game, add some character with permission for everyone to edit/control and post the link to allow people to test. Roll20 has a policy of one sheet per system with rare exception (grandfathered sheets and/or sheets that have official by roll20, etc.) I'm not familiar with the current state of the vampire sheets... The idea is to improve upon a single sheet. You may be adding your sheet to roll20's repository but it might only be available for Pro users to use in a Custom game. Or it's possible an older version of the sheet would become deprecated (still available for anyone using it, but it would not be available for new games. Pro users could also access the code from Custom as well.) Cheers
thanks @vince! I created a game to play around with this charsheet https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/17219183/vampire-the-masquarade-v20-custom-charsheet also, I've made repo public (if someone wants to help me with it too) https://github.com/Jabher/vtm-better-sheet major note for developers here: I was not quite satisfied with other community JS and HTML stuff so I've reworked the whole workflow. It is working on Vite, React, and has some custom framework for automations and partial simulation of sheetworkers. Maybe it can be useful stuff for other sheet makers

Curious to have a look see. Sounds like you will be ahead of the curve for the upcoming Beacon Sheet Development system that roll20 is planning to roll-out for sheet developers. Also, you'll need to provide the in-game join link (see the opening chat message) in order for people to actually get into the game.
My bad, I'm not regular GM so I'm unfamiliar with some stuff :) https://app.roll20.net/join/17219183/6Dnrew Beacon Sheet sounds very promising, though... not released yet even in beta. But will keep an eye on it
