As a heads up to potential individuals looking to play, I wanted to give my experience of interview, recruitment, and then subsequent abandonment here. The interview started off and went well enough, being told that I should be able to join them for their next session (The interview was done by the GM's boyfriend/partner, was on monday, and they had just finished their session before I was approached) However, I received nothing but radio silence after that. I attempted to reach out multiple times, only to be seemingly ignored for no reason. Monday rolls around, and I had been told that despite my requests to get with the GM so I could make a character, I wouldn't be able to play in that day's session, and that the GM would be reaching out to me afterwards to help me build a character. This didn't happen. The day after that, I receive a message at three in the morning telling me that I suddenly wasn't able to join them due to having scared off some players. So, not only had I not been kept in the loop of the situation, I had no contact with the actual GM, and was led along for two weeks with only false promises, claims of friendliness and an eagerness to have me attend, only for it to be proven false. Don't waste your time folks, you're only going to be burned.
