[LFG} [5e] New to D&D, looking to learn!

I'm pretty new to the RPG scene, been pretty curious about it for a few years now and decided to give it a try. My time zone is PST! I'm currently looking for a game that's willing to give a (nearly) entirely new player a shot! Either something involving story/roleplay (I have a love for heavy story/character centered plots), or a more casual adventure experience, I'm just as open to any!

well im putting together a tyranny of dragons campaign, which should take about 2 or so years to finish its on mondays at 830pm central/texas time and we need 1 more person too  but it is a voice game so youll have to work that out, like mentally if thats gonna be a personal issue.

Hey I run a Sunday Mad Mage game which will be starting soon at around 9PM EST, the thread is over here . We are looking for 1-2 more players. Its about 20-40% RP and rest combat and puzzles.
