the age of mortals is ending... the age of worms is nigh... The Age of Worms Adventure Path was the second Adventure Path for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, published in twelve issues in Dungeon Magazine from July 2005 through June 2006. Players graduate from 1st level adventurers to seasoned 20th level(+) heroes by the end. The adventure has the PCs beginning their adventuring careers in the lively mountain village of Diamond Lake, a muddy smudge on the map of the hills east of the fabulous Free City. Most of Diamond Lake’s inhabitants are miners and laborers, serious folk who spend most of their lives toiling below ground. When not working, the miners celebrate along the Vein, a seedy road lined with alehouses and brothels. Overall, the village is a sooty, sullen place prone to unpleasant bursts of violence and passion. But Diamond Lake holds plenty of opportunities for adventure, for the uplands on the lakeside opposite the village are rife with ancient tombs that for centuries have named them the Cairn Hills. A local mage named Allustan - the smartest man in Diamond Lake - has invited you to his study to discuss an opportunity. This first installment of the adventure will have the PCs exploring a local dungeon as well as adventuring about the environs of Diamond Lake. Slowly, surely, inevitably, our heroes become embroiled in a deeper plot wherein festers a ages-old corruption. Games are scheduled WEEKLY for SATURDAYS at 16:00 PM to 20:00 pm EST The game is for adults only. 18+.
