[LFG][DND 5e][30+] would love to find a group that's dedicated to roleplay on an adult life schedule

Hey all!  I'm Em, and I've been on and off playing different pen and paper rpgs since I was 15 (I'm 39 now) and would love to play some sweet DND with a group that cherishes the stories and worldbuilding as much as I do. My past groups either ran their course or dissolved due to people moving, changing jobs, life happening etc and it's been a while since I got to play.  A bit about me: I love playing quirky, sweet, maybe a bit naive characters and I love creating a cohesive background story that ties back to my character's abilities. While I have a solid understanding of what DND entails, I'm a bit rusty on some of the rules, so would require a patient group while I get back up to speed. In turn you get a motivated player who loves playing both with other players and with the GM, rather than 'against' them. I always favor a good story/experience over min-maxing. I'm located in Germany and can thus do evening hours in CEST time zone, or if anyone's doing morning sessions on a PST zone, that could work as well.  Putting the 30+ in because I'd love to meet some people my age (or older) this way, but it isn't a limiting factor at all!  If you made it this far, thanks for reading :3

Hi I am brand new to dungeons and dragons and would like to play my first campaign. I have been watching alot of dimension 20 and have been playing alot of Balders gate and it has really made dnd look like a load of fun and laughs. I understand if you do not want to be teaching a brand new person how to play but I thought it wont hurt to message :) Also I am only 25 so again I get if I'm not the type of player you are looking for. I love the idea of focusing on the fun aspect of the game as I know some people can go too far with min/maxing or not allowing the odd shenanigan. I am in the UK so am only 1 hour behind so would probably help with the scheduling  Did you have any timings in mind for the sessions. As in during the week? Or how long you guys would do each session for? Thanks Louis

Hey Bearhugs. I’m also looking for an older [30+] group, story and role play focus, character backgrounds matching abilities and world ... along with some fun and interesting combat. Character development is my favorite part of the game. Anyway … my best day is Tuesday between 1:00pm to 5:00pm EDT (UTC-5:00). That would be evening for CEST. Might work for you? I started playing D&D back in the 80s. I would like to mostly be a player (maybe others could chime in) but I could also take a seat in the DM chair. I mostly DM, looking to play a little.
