This campaign might be for you if… You love to do bits when you’re playing DND. You want a DND experience focused heavily on roleplay and a DM who’s great at improvising and reacting to your decisions. You want vetted players just as committed as you, reliable weekly games, an experienced DM with a performance background, and full compendium access to all of DND 5e’s content. You’re completely new to DND and want a DM who’s available for questions, chats, or tech support. You’re an experienced player who loves roleplaying, interacting with NPCs, having your backstory fundamentally integrated into the game, and having your character have an “arc” over a campaign. You’re into improv comedy. My friend, you have found your people. About the Adventure “The Lost Mine of Phandelver” is the iconic introductory adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition. You’re an adventurer, hired to escort a wagon to a small town. What starts so innocently quickly gives way to an elaborate web of intrigue and danger. The quaint frontier town of Phandalin faces many threats on all sides and within. Between goblins, ruffians, and an enigmatic villain doing anything they can to claim an ancient mine for immense magical power, the fate of Phandalin and its people is in your party’s hands. We have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind. About the DM Hi, I’m Jess (she/her)! I’m a gloomy warlock comedian who did improv and sketch comedy until the pandemic made performing in person a really dangerous thing to do. While in quarantine I found that online DND was just as fun, only I got to dive into characters much more than I would ever get to do while performing every week. I’ve had formal training at UCB (same place that Brennan Lee Mulligan trained!), Sea Tea Comedy Theater, Boston Improv Asylum, and others. I made The Gloomy Warlocks Society to DM professionally and to make a community of improv and DND nerds. And because if I had to pick a DND class for myself, I’d be a gloomy warlock. Reach out to know more about me and my open games!
