Looking for a dm and players - me and my friend :p | Beginners

Me and my friend have recently gotten into dnd so we are pretty nooby and we would love to start a pretty standard campaign. We are looking for players and a dm , so naturally we would love to have a patient dm and / or players because we will probably make some mistakes but we want to learn ! We have tried having a campaign before so we know the basics but don't expect too much.

Hello, I have a few questions: -By standard campaign do you mean standard high fantasy setting? Or are you thinking standard module v.s homebrew?  -What time & time zone are you looking at? Weekly or bi-weekly? -Do you prefer RP or do you prefer Combat?

I might be interested in running a BECMI game of D&D, if people are interested in doing something old school. I have a range of availability, but ideally mornings, afternoons would be good.  What are peoples thoughts?

Thanks! i’ve had a call of Cthulhu campaign going for a while, but we don’t get to play anywhere near as much as I would like. So I would like to add some fifth edition DND into the mix. What usually works best for me is playing around three hours maybe a couple of times a month (sometimes more) starting around 6 PM or so Pacific time and ideally being able to kind of bounce around on Fridays and Saturdays, depending on when most people can make it. Discord for voice and Maps in Roll20.

Welllll….its been well over a week since the OP chimed in. maybe their circumstances have changed. If any of the beginners who replied on the thread here are still interested in a campaign maybe consider sending me a private message and I’ll see about putting something together. I’m really getting kind of married to the idea of running something for noobs or nearly noobs so I may also start my own post regarding that. Cheers!
