[D&D 5e] [$15] [Homebrew] [Wed 6pm Central] Build Your Own Nation in "Rise of Thalassia"

What started out as a normal day spent sailing the seas becomes something very different when an ocean storm wrecks your ship and lands you on a seemingly uncharted island, deep in Pacific-sized Ocean of Leo.&nbsp; While at first you'll need to scrabble desperately to survive, you'll eventually discover the advantages your new island home brings you. And as you lead your new home to prosperity, you may eventually be able to challenge the great Trade Empires that dominate the land, sea, and air surrounding the continents of Mynth. This campaign will be around for the long haul, with adventures that take the party from level 1 to level 20. Each tier will have its own focus: Survival Growth Politics Crisis The game's format will be one adventure per level, with the downtime between adventures typically counted in months. Adventures generally focus on exploration and problem solving, with at least one significant combat encounter per adventure (although players may be able to avoid this, or bring on even more combat, based on their choices). Each tier-one adventure will be short, but adventures will increase in length and complexity as the party levels up. Sessions are conducted through voice chat on Discord. They are held weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm Central (USA) time.&nbsp; Session length tends to be between 2 and 3 hours. About Me: I've been a GM for well over 20 years now, and I've been running at least one campaign every week for the past 8 years.&nbsp; I have extensive experience with D&amp;D 5e in particular, and I've fleshed out my homebrew world of Mynth over the course of four years-long campaigns.&nbsp; I'm confident that players who like exploring unusual worlds and facing challenges with both wit and blade will enjoy my fifth return to this planet. The D&amp;D 5.5 Question : I haven't looked at the playtest material, and I don't intend to think about it until the edition update and/or new edition is published in its final form.&nbsp; At that point, I will discuss with my players whether to switch to the new material or keep going with 5.0.
