Would anyone like to help me get justice for an old character of mine?

Hello!     My name is Colton, and I'm here to look for a campaign that will allow me to replay as an old character of mine. He was an aarakocran monk who had a nametag on him that read "Mocco" (I am willing to lose the ability to fly) who was born in a sky bound monastery all by his lonesome, well besides the egg that was right beside him in his nest. As a hatchling he clumsily found out how to fend for himself, eating scant bugs around the monastery and learning how to read through old scrolls and letters. He has a deep attachment to the egg he was born with and treats him as a sibling, with him always having the egg tied around to him. Due to him growing up on his lonesome he is very socially inept, but he grew a strong passion for learning the truth about what to his people, and why he was left by himself.     So you might be wondering what happened to Mocco that makes me want to get justice for him? Well the campaign I went through was Lost Mines of Phandelver and that went along swimming besides the fact that my D.M. (the group I was in were just people I grew up with) didn't really allow room for my character to grow which isn't really at fault to the d.m. due to tight schedule. However...  things changed when we switched from LMoP to Curse of Strahd, my party had a tabaxi necromancer that we'll call "Lookatme". Lookatme as his name suggested hated whenever he wasn't part of a plot thread and in LMoP he begged our D.M. to make his dad the secondary villian, his love interest the only returning npc to the party, and whenever my character mentions his egg Lookatme would bully my character and always say that his egg was dead and for me to stop bringing it up (which I only did 3 times across multiple sessions).     When we got to curse of strahd I thought it would be interesting if Mocco was reluctant to follow the caravan and have the other PCs try to convince me. Lookatme proceeded to call my character (not me) a "cowardly bitch" and then tried to use hold person on me. I passed the DC but my D.M pulled some stuff up on the fly and said that the magic of the caravan enthralled me so much that I failed the D.C.? I was a bit miffed but we carried on playing through Strahd and things were ok but I wasn't really feeling it, until I managed to get the sun sword. It was the first rare item I have ever gotten and I managed to get it after passing all the DCs by myself.  Lookatme proceeded to tell me I should give it to our College of Swords bard but he didn't want it and our DM was willing to let me become proficient with it if I practiced enough with it. Lookatme was miffed with this but I thought not much of it, well that night my egg started to hatch and out came a vile creature this was especially heart wrenching for me since my DM told me whenever I did insight on the egg it would say it has a deep attachment to me, I was going to try many non fatal options to try to talk to it but Lookatme grabbed the sun sword and killed it without my permission and the DM LET HIM. The other PCs were mad with me but after that session things were already heating up in our friend group and suddenly DM and Lookatme weren't friends anymore but we also just gave up on D&D after that. I was personally ok with the egg becoming corrupted but I just wanted a chance to at least have one conversation to talk to it after caring for it for 4 years.     If you were to DM for me :) : I am completely fine with resetting Mocco to before LMoP or Picking up before Strahd. I am ok if something bad happens to the egg but I would just like closure and the ability for my character to have more weight in the story. Also as an extra treat I promise I won't spam stunning strike. thank yall have a good day

Hey, Buddy. I'm going to help you out, by responding, which will most likely cause someone to respond to me to prove me wrong. I've been in the spot where you are now, feeling like a beloved character got left with too much of a cliff-hanger. The best thing to do if you want to finish this story, is to just write yourself a little short story and flesh it out however you like. It's a bit of a tall order to ask a potential, and I say potential, DM or GM to pick up the threads of someone else's storyline and carry it forward. There's a reason these games keep crashing and it's most likely because of that sort of chaos.  The best way to continue your character's story in-game is to just join a group that will allow you to build an  aarakocran  PC like you had and start over. Find a way to work it into your head canon. Maybe this is five years later or one year before everything else happened. Or maybe you can convince yourself that your egg is safe at home and not really bring it up in the game as anything other than flavor. If you can find a way to fit into someone's game without carrying all of this additional baggage and laying it at your DM's feet, then you very well might find a game. And if you stay in a stable game long enough and keep talking about your egg at home, one day the DM might actually get an idea for it and say, you know what, here's what happens next. Those are my two cents. Good luck to you and hopefully you find a way to continue gaming.
