HTTYD Historical Campaign Idea (Looking for interest)

So I was reading a fanfic the other day that basically put Berk in end of Viking Age Europe, and Honestly I just thought the concept of being more historically accurate Vikings with dragons, raiding Europe, and who knows what would come of it, maybe forming a Dragon Riding Viking Empire, maybe joining the Varangian Guard. Honestly just seemed like a cool concept to workshop. Open for discussion on system, and exact time periods, would prefer to have a couple players and someone willing to GM, as I'm not confident in my own skills at GMing I have some friends I might try to get in on this unfortunately the one's with the skill, and interest in GMing are busy.

Sounds like it would be great using Mythras!  The magic and combat systems are great if you like a little bit of crunch in your bunch.  There is folk magic and Shamanistic Animism for the Vikings, and Theism and Sorcery for the Europeans... Plus there is a TON of support material for historical periods for Mythras, Viking Age Europe being one.  This would provide all the era-appropriate Combat Styles and weapons/armor.  There is free community material that includes a "Combat Style Encyclopedia" with over a thousand searchable entries sorted by Era/Culture/Campaign etc. Sounds like a very cool idea!  I'll keep an eye on this!
