Hi there! I’m looking for one more person to play a game of *Shiver*, the setting agnostic horror system from *Parable Games*. I plan on playing once per week or every two weeks (whatever works best for the players) until the game story is concluded, which should be about 3 sessions. The game would be held on Saturday evenings EST for approx. 3 to 4 hours. Voice would be done on discord, and we would use Roll20 for rolling. Discord is how we would arrange for character creation, scheduling and getting to know each other before hand.  I’m looking for experienced RPers to play in our story. It’s not necessary that you’ve played shiver before, just that you’ve roleplayed. We will teach the system, which is very easy to learn. The party is a group of 4 headed to a convention for a fictional card game *Multiverse of Horror* in which two players battle in *Magic: the Gathering* style to see who can kill the other’s group of survivors first using monsters from popular media (Slashers, Alien Xenomorph’s, etc). However, there are some dark rumors surrounding the card game, it’s origins and usage of certain…symbols. My Style We’ll have a session zero ahead of time through discord (planned for Saturday) where I will explain everything, and will have handouts custom to each character explaining what they know, background, etc. I like to be highly descriptive; combat will be sparse. I tend to favor tension building, drama and intrigue over raw fighting. I am extremely inclusive. LGBT, all races, religions and ethnicities are welcome and bigotry in any form is an \**instant ban* with \**no warning*. That having been said: Safety Rules I work in mental health, and I’m very aware of what can be triggering for others. I don’t want to stumble across something that might be actually traumatic or scary for you. Playing at scary is one thing, and can be fun, but actual real world fears *aren’t*. So I use **Lines and Veils** to set the limits for what can be included in the game. **Lines** are hard limits that cannot even be alluded to, **Veils** are things that can be included, but off screen (inferred only). My own are as follows: **Lines**: Sexual content; **Veils**: Wartime trauma, crimes against children. I will ask each player these limits (to be shared with me privately) and then produce a master list for everyone so you don’t have to air your laundry in front of other players if you don’t want to.
