moves against the Tsukihama -gumi then he is to remove one of Kenzo 's loved ones each
time that they do ” RTG was unaware that Big Tuna’s
grandfather had already been rescued. Revenant followed RTG when
he and two of his men went to an unremarkable home. The building was guarded by
Yakuza goons who might, or might not, have been RTG’s cyber-ninja lieutenants. He met with a older Japanese
woman who talked to him (after being translated) about various activities the
Tsukihama-gumi is involved in. The unidentified woman who was obviously in
charge was particularly interested in a shipment of cigarettes bought from the
Eastern Cherokee Nation Indian Reservation (considered smuggling because of
Federal trade laws). The shipment would be repackaged and given new filters and
would generate a profit in excess of 10 million dollars. The Brigade sent the information
to ATF to be taken care of. Cherry Darling, Rocko,
Preston Gibson, and Barbra (Babs) Satin set up Forggie with a room, clean dry
clothes, and some of Preston’s gourmet food. She becomes the latest resident at
the Bunker. December 11, 2018 Tuesday Impact,
looking for a way to contribute, joins Paladin in listening the police radio
broadcasts. This monitoring duty has been dubbed ‘The Trouble Alert’. December 12, 2018 Wednesday
The group has not heard from Network 5 days, not since he
and Revenant broke into MBI and stole the files on Project Easter Eggs and
Happy Birthday releasing them to the public. December 17, 2018
Monday Much older versions of Marsha and Cindy Rhalman appear in
the Bunker. They look like they are in their mid 30s rather than the mid-teens
that they were over Thanksgiving just a month ago. The
naked women say ‘Sorry, we need to borrow Kismet. We will bring her back as
soon as we can.’. Kismet is in the middle of a protest when the three of them
vanish and Kismet’s clothes fall to the floor. December 18, 2018 Tuesday
10AM
The
Bunker gets a call from USAgent of Executive Sanction. He will be by at 11AM to
talk to Paladin. 11AM USAgent and Battlestar arrive at the Bunker. After suggesting
the conversation would be better held indoors Paladin lets them in. USAgent
tells Paladin that he is here as a courtesy. Director Canfield asked the Brigade
to leave the skull of Professor Bard (inventor of the Xylon Bomb) alone so that
Department of Defense could try to get the secret for America but we needed to
find out how the Axis was going to use the skull to get the formula. Executive Sanction and PRIMUS (maybe other departments) know
that the Brooklyn Brigade switched the skull of Professor Roloc Bard putting a
decoy in its place. USAgent told Paladin that he thanked him, PRIMUS thanked
him and all of America thanked him for their interference. Also ‘we’ know that the Brooklyn Brigade was responsible
for the leak of the top secret files stolen from MBI. While
we know who is responsible, we do not have proof. If we ever get proof the
members of the Brooklyn Brigade should find another country to live in. With
that USAgent and Battlestar left. Shortly
after Executive Sanction left another motorcyclist arrives. It is a low power
heroine, probably having no super powers at all, coming to talk to Big Tuna.
She identifies herself as Stripperella. She warns that Deathblade (Red Tie Guy
finally has a name!) is after him. He wants a magic sword that will increase
his power considerably and expand his portfolio to include magic (Deathblade is
already a cyborg). He wants Big Tuna to get it because whoever removes the blade
from its hiding place will be cursed, and having Big Tuna cursed is like icing
on the cake. Paladin
asks how they can reach her if they have any questions. She tells them a friend
of hers named Erotica Jones is a dancer at the Titty Twister and she can get
word to her at any time. Paladin
does a quick search on Deathblade and is able to find that he was a super
villain in Japan. He is a racist against any non-Japanese person. That he is
following in the footsteps of his father, the villain Night Shadow. It got too
hot for him in Japan so he (Deathblade) came to America to work with the Yakuza
here. After
Stripperella leaves Paladin gives the information to Big Tuna. Paladin
then contacts Doctor McQuark to come up with replacement comms for Kismet’s
mind link until she reappears. McQuark
says he will have the prototypes by tomorrow afternoon. December 19. 2018 Wednesday The group discusses what to do. They decide to go to
Satsuma Alabama to hunt the dragon that kidnapped the 10 girls from the
Catholic school there. Paladin calls Dr. McQuark to find a expert on dragons.
McQuark offers to put him in contact with a number of professors that teach
mythology but Paladin wanted someone with practical information about real
dragons. Also the new comms are ready. They are two small discs
that camouflage with the skin they are connected to. One on the jawline the
other behind the ear. They are powered by body heat, or in the case of the team’s
cold blooded member ambient heat and sunshine. They incorporate Meson technology,
have a range of 100 KM, should be unhackable, but need to be synched about once
a week to maintain connection. If the comms move out of range from each other
they will need to be resynced in order to resume function. If they are denied heat for a power source their internal
batteries are good for about a day. Paladin passes them out putting the extras in storage. Revenant suggests getting in contact with the family of
witches that helped against the Mythos. Froggie and Impact tag along. The door is opened by the eldest daughter, Melle. She is
standoffish and asks the group what they want. Hearing that they want to speak
to her father Melle tells them that both her parents have gone to Salem for the
Sacrifice of the Yule and won’t be back for days. Her younger sister, Avina, calls over and tells her to stop
scaring the straights. Avina says that her father is work and mother is in the
kitchen. Avina invites them in. Melle asks if they would like some refreshments.
She says they have A, O, and AB in stock. Melle also offers them entrails. Mary Margret Catherine Lucinda Abagail, the youngest
sister, enters the room. She asks if Kismet is still using HER broom. Mary
Margret says that Kismet and she could have been friends if Kismet hadn’t been
a thieving bitch. Revenant tells her that Kismet has said something very
similar about her. This makes Mary Margret smile. With the pleasantries taken care of Monia, their mother,
enters the room. She repeats that they shouldn’t scare the straights. Mary
Margret leans in and whispers to Froggie that the last time we scared the straights
they attacked us with torches and pitchforks. Froggie was aghast. “That happened in the modern times?” Mary Margret smiled. “Yeah…in modern times.” The group explained to Monia why they were here and what
they needed. Monia said that she wasn’t the expert that Winguric, her husband,
is but she could help. She tells the group the dragon, Salazar, had some degree
of honor since he tried to buy a girl first. It was only when he was denied
that he ‘helped himself’. That he was looking for virgins told her that he was
looking for one of two things: A) he was looking for a pure, unsoiled meal or
B) he was looking to start a family. Since he took 10 girls, perhaps he wanted both. Either way it is likely too late for the girls since Salazar
has had them for over a week. It is unlikely, but not impossible, that they
could survive producing eggs for the dragon. If they survive they would be mesmerized
by the dragon and bonded to it for life. Otherwise Monia suggests that Melle, who has been working
on her Reanimations, could return some semblance of them to their families. Monia suggested that Mary Margret could produce a potion
that would lead the team to the dragon’s lair. Asking her how long it would
take to product the potion Mary Margret said she would need something that one
of the girls possessed to create the potion and it take a week to brew. Monia asked how long it would take to brew if Mary
Margret’s life was at stake. She amended the time frame to making it ready tomorrow
morning. Monia told her to get started. Mary Margret objected that she needed
the personal item first. With a sigh Monia tells her that she is aware enough of
alchemy to know that personal item is the last ingredient to be added. The rest
of the potion could be started now. Using the new comms Impact talks to Paladin arranging for
the Sacred Heart School for Girls to have a personal effect from each of the
girls who were abducted ready for speedy-pick up. When Impact picks the items up Principal Hudson mentions
that it would be a miracle if the girls could be home for Christmas. Impact
said it was his hope as well. December 20. 2018 Thursday 03:00 Borrowing Kei and Yuri’s (anti-gravity) air raft that
reaches speeds of 472 MPH (and can travel in a straight line instead of
following roads) they can reach Satsuma Alabama in 2.5 hours. (As a matter of
interest Impact can reach it in 30 minutes.) 06:00 Impact picks up the potion from Mary Margret and zips
down to rendezvous with the rest of the team at Sacred Heart. Where he drinks
the potion and is led across the Tensaw Delta Wildlife Management Area, through
to the other side. Then thirty more miles to the town of Pine Grove, population
1500-ish. The effects of the potion end as the group comes in sight
of a modest, 1 and a half story single family home with a built in garage. It
is a nice residential area. Houses surround the target home on all sides; left,
right, across the street, and on the opposite side of the yard. 07:00 Paladin gets word from Hal that the Lovely Angels (aka
Dirty Pair – Kei and Yuri) are in system and heading for the upstate hanger where
the Brigade store their own spaceship. They want to discuss many things
including getting their air raft back. 07:30 Revenant and Impact scout out the house looking through
windows and such. The see a man, slight of build, balding, with glasses sipping
coffee and making breakfast. He is making a very large breakfast like he is
preparing to feed an army. Revenant sneaks through a second story window while Impact
phases through a wall. Impact find the 10 girls in the basement. They are nude
and chained to a wall. One of the girls is shouting at another that she is Salazar’s
favorite and as soon as she has his baby the other girls will be killed. The
victim of the scathing screams back that she is Salazar’s favorite and the rest
of the girls will be used as food for her young as soon as they hatch. The rest of the girls in chorus made similar claims. One
of the girls claiming to be the chosen one is ridiculed that Salazar hasn’t
touched her in days. Impact, concerned that the girls seem to be enthralled by
the dragon, carries this information to Paladin. Paladin and the Brigade go house by house and evacuate
the civilians. Nearly a dozen home are cleared in case of collateral damage
when the battle begins. The session ends with the group discussing tactics for
rescuing the girls and preparing to engage Salazar in combat.
