Join
the current characters: a Human Gloomstalker Ranger/Assassin, a Half-Orc
Barbarian/Fighter, a War Domain Cleric, and a Yuan-Ti Druid as they search the
scene of an assassination for a powerful artifact. Party is currently at level
9.
Gate
Pass is falling. The forces of the Empire took the western gate of the
independent city-state of Gate Pass and are slowly conquering the remainder of
the city. The resistance is rallying other countries to prevent the anti-magic
inquisitors of the “Scourge” from routing out “dangerous spell casters who are
to blame for the emperor’s untimely death.”
Forces
of the high elves are poised outside the Eastern Gate and lending some aid to
the resistance but refuses to commit any military support.
You may
be the only ones to save not only Gate Pass, but the world as you know it.
Will
you be the heroes to unite the smaller kingdoms against the threat of the
Empire?
Can
you uncover the mystery of the emperor’s death and the location of the artifact
he used to conquer the surrounding lands?

Before
the campaign is over, the players will:
Escape a besieged city, Traverse
an eternally burning forest, Save
the Resistance headquarters from destruction. Ally
the dukedoms of a kingdom, Penetrate
the castle where the emperor died, Pursue
the assassins who slew him, Recover
a powerful artifact, Rescue hundreds
of imprisoned mages from an icy fortress, Destroy
a magical focus being used by the invaders, Defend
Gate Pass from a Ragesian invasion, Save a
dragon from her dreamworld prison, Defeat
a mile-long living airship and its traitorous creator.
This
is a level 3 to level 20 DnD 5e campaign featuring heavy role play and
exploration, with challenging combat. The players will have the opportunity to
influence political events in the world, to lead armies into battle, and to
possibly rule the world or let it be destroyed as they see fit. The PCs will
get to play with some big guns, and as the campaign nears its climax you will
witness the horrifying potential of magic on the field of war.

an experienced Game Master and Storyteller, with over 40 years of experience running
RPGs with many long-term and short-term campaigns.
