Not sure this is the right forum but what is up with the Roll20 token search feature?

It brings up the right corresponding tokens from my purchases, but the "From the web" section is basically useless now. It used to show helpful free assets, like blood splatters, basic furnishings, etc., but now everything it shows is like a regular image, not top-down. Its like I'm just going to google and searching for whatever I'm looking for, which is what its supposed to be but it didn't USED to be like that. I need those basic furnishings for a lot of maps. Help?

Hi Thyvenom, The best place to get Free assets now (including some furniture) is go into your Art Library and click  the (+) to drop down the Free Assets category. Roll20 improved the Free Assets category after the Web Search category began to fail.  The websites that used to provide the art that was coming up under Web Search, have failed and gone offline. The material under Web Search has steadily declined in availability since then.  Web Search will probably be removed and replaced in the future of Roll20, because like you said, it doesn't work right anymore and can't be fixed back to what it used to do.  Otherwise also like you said, your best bet to get Web images is just go to Google or another search engine and find them, download them, and upload into Roll20, if you can't get what you needed from Free Assets or your purchases. 

Hi Thyvenom,  "From the Web" has not changed, the Art Library tab did. Please switch "Everything" to "Tokens" and you will see the results you are used to seeing.  This change was made because people were having a hard time finding Marketplace products in the Art Library because some of those products were not tokens. However, that has affected the results from the "From the Web" section since it is now "Everything".  With that said, Gold is correct. From the Web is an archived search from about 10 (11?) years ago. Many of the results are now dead, or they will die in the future. Use that feature with caution as the image you use may vanish from your game at any time when the link breaks. This is not something Roll20 has control over. Google shut down the From the Web API a long time ago. Many websites fade away, for example one of the main websites that people are pulling tokens from is Dundjinni, but it is gone now and those Dundjinni images break periodically.
