Roll20 Discord Activity Now Live on Servers Worldwide

This is a great help and hopefully it will cause my discord to no longer quit on my tablet which is what i use both roll20 and discord on. Unfortunately Tablet doesnt have the option of roll 20 in the activities on discord. Im hopeful this will change in the near future but i will be getting a laptop soon so it isnt a huge deal. exciting times to have better connectivity.

Help, I entered the wrong password when logging in and now it just doesn't load anything, just a dark screen and that's it, in other channels too, I don't know how to log into roll20 in discord now, it just doesn't load anything

Hi Макс! Are you using the web version of Discord? If so, you might be able to delete cache and cookies.

And the inability to log in persists from session to session? And if you log out of Discord and back in? Beyond that, I'm out of ideas. You could try posting on the Roll20 discord server. They might have better solutions.

I cleared the cache through folders, it worked, but now after pressing the button there is an account, just a white screen, I will figure it out further, maybe I didn’t delete everything...

I am sharing a post I made in bug reports in the hope that this issue can be investigated further: Hi, today we were excited to try the discord integrated version of roll20 to do our campaign and make it more accessible to some of our online players that are mobile only. However, when the DM attempted to log in to their account and pull up the game, only to run into an error and closed the activity, but when they reopened the activity it showed them with a new account and all of the previous account information was gone. Sure enough, on my end the game the DM created was completely inaccessible and that seems to indicate the account was deleted and replaced with a new one. Is there any way to revert this change and recover the original account? It has been pretty devastating for everyone involved since characters that were not backed up were purged with the game and few people seem to have the energy to recreate the character sheets and assets. Hi Henri! They need to file a&nbsp; Help Center Request &nbsp;to resolve this. The forums are primarily community help, and this sounds like an account issue. I don't think there's a need to panic though. It's very unlikely that anything was actually overwritten or deleted.

It seems like whoever joins the activity first is marked as the GM, even if they are not the original creator of the game. This is mildly concerning.

Attempting to load Roll20 in Discord's app brings up only a blank screen. Have tested in both Windows and Linux, neither one working. EDIT: It works in the browser, but not in the app.

More accurately they'll see whatever view that the Roll20 Account has (that they use to Log-in the Discord Activity panel of Roll20) -- so they would only see your view if they used your Roll20 login and password, or if their account is promoted to Co-GM on your game.&nbsp; This Activity is very-much-like loading a Roll20 webpage that just happens to be nested inside Discord visually. It should ask them for their own Roll20 login and password ("on first launch only") to start using the Activity.&nbsp;

My GM has a concern relating to invites. To test out the activity, me and another player activated the activity and logged in, the other player marked as GM (activity host.) Another person in the call, who was notably NOT in the game prior, logged in and joined the activity, which somehow automatically invited that person to the actual roll20 game without the actual GM and game owner allowing it. Could this mean that someone in a game could just go into a chat with hundreds or even thousands of discord users and flood roll20 games through the activity or am I just missing some privacy or security option?

Hi MahoShounen,&nbsp; I would guess that that is based on the controls for people joining your Discord call. If you do not restrict who can join a Discord call then anyone can join.&nbsp; I suggest making sure folks cannot join the call if they are not supposed to.&nbsp;

I just tested the Discord version of Roll20 and so far I'm loving the load speeds. I think some of my players with slower machines will appreciate this, too.&nbsp; But as a GM I need my APIs, and they don't seem to work on Discord. Any chance that will change over time? If not, I guess it's not a big deal, I'll just sign in with my browser and my players can sign in with Discord.&nbsp;

Alessandro M.,&nbsp; I haven't tested this but my guess is that API sandbox requires someone to be in the game and Discord may be one step removed for registering that.&nbsp; To test that you could try logging in with a dummy account in the browser, then log in with your regular account via Discord so you can see the video chat.&nbsp;

why is it so hard to find a map to play , i mean they make this so complicated no wonder... any tips as to why i cant seem to get on a map it says not authorized even when invited ?

you say check for authorization issues , where how if i have them it was through no fault of my own an if i knew where they where do you think i would allow it to continue to to interfere ,,, lol&nbsp;&nbsp; the main thing i have found is either they haven't started yet or they wont start for days an up to weeks i was hoping for a bit quicker ability to play ... i guess im asking to much ... i started on here months ago an took forever to figure out how to set up the character with help from mike , took 5 hrs&nbsp;&nbsp; an never got to even play so im a bit disappointed to say the least ....

ok isnt there a chat function here ??? i was there but it asked me to verify my email i did an it said its already registered ??/ now i cant get on ther an it say invite no longer valid !!! this is getting tiresome do you have to be invited to everything ???? this place really needs an ai controlled map so ppl like my self that would like to play now .. not sure this&nbsp; is the place for me sad cause i love dnd

Find the token under Premium Assets or Free Assets there. Drag and drop it onto the map. For a Character, go into the Journals (top-right above chat) and drag-drop the Character onto the map, note you have to Grab the character in a certain spot on the line for it to work (grab from the name, not from the icon).&nbsp;

i found it thanks you have to launch the&nbsp; game to put the chreatures

i found it its really hard to make the creatures stay where i put them ? i tried layer control then it makes them disappear ? or it makes them imposable to manipulate

ok i got it built but i would like the creatures not to be visable to the players till they encounter them will i have to add them during game play for that?

If the Players have a Character Sheet, then you link that Token to their Character Sheet and they will thus automatically have control of the token. If they don't use Character Sheet, only use Token --- you (the GM) double-click on the Token and where it says "Controlled By" set that setting to 1 player or "All Players"

wow so i got the map to work with the character sheets an the tokens i set up its actually working the fog&nbsp; of war is as well i almost got a working map/game ani will open it soon to test it&nbsp; for free i enjoy the building an then the fun of using the maps so i am twice blessed&nbsp; ... YAEEEE
