July 29, 2024 D&D 2024 Character Sheet & Builder The new D&D 2024 Beta Sheet & Builder is now available in both the Roll20 Tabletop and Roll20 Characters! Read all about it in our latest blog post , and learn more about our full support for the new books here ! Roll20 Discord Activity Roll20 Discord Activity is now live for all users globally! With this Discord Activity, you can now press a button and with a few clicks, join your friends in a fully functional Roll20Tabletop with Discord! July 30, 2024 Roll20 Tabletop Jumpgate Beta: One way lighting lines finally have their direction indicators again! Fixes issue where tokens were not properly snapping to grid. Fixed issue preventing dragging of tokens from the Journal to the VTT when default tokens had status markers When copying a Legacy game to Jumpgate, rotated text objects no longer appear stretched/illegible Fixed issue causing odd behavior when multiselecting portals; multiselecting no longer throws errors, leaves behind old selection boxes, and fails to multiselect Applying defaults to tokens is now functioning as intended: updating token settings of default token now applies new values to all linked tokens Fixed a bug where dragging and dropping a monster/token from the D&D 5e compendium onto the map would not keep the preset token settings and the token size. Now you can drag and drop those monsters directly onto your map and start playing. Note: This bug still happens in non-Jumpgate games. We're still working on it for those games. Modest improvements to page switch performance, improving load speed by ~5% No longer displaying video controls for the game backgrounds out of the VTT Fixed an issue that caused objects to disappear or VTT to crash after removing an item from a group of tokens in certain circumstances Roll20 Characters: Fixed a bug where dragging and dropping spells from the D&D 5e Compendium wouldn't have all the right spell components. Fixed a bug where some players were able to see the GM rolls and whispers while in Roll20 Characters. Now your secrets can stay secret. July 31, 2024 Roll20 Tabletop Updates: Made updates to enable Voice & Video to function for users whose device configurations are invalid (via fallback to a default microphone) Removed a false error message that appeared in certain circumstances when Voice & Video was functioning as expected August 1, 2024 Roll20 Tabletop Jumpgate Beta: Jumpgate Beta is now open to all Roll20 users! Resolved a common cause of images (maps and tokens) failing to load August 2, 2024 Updates to the D&D 2024 Beta Character Sheet & Builder: Improvements made to weapon drag & drop to account for multiple attack/damage (e.g. Versatile weapons will now include both a 1 and 2 handed attack) Improvements made to armor drag & drop to automatically apply disadvantage, if applicable to that piece of armor You are now able to fully override your ability scores and modifiers via the Ability Score Edit Modal You are now able to edit whether an item in your inventory is equipable Fixed a bug in the builder where images on the class & species screens were appearing incorrectly at small widths Roll20 Tabletop Jumpgate Beta: Fixed an issue which prevented token auras from appearing Fixed a Fog of War issue to ensure "fill page" fills the page with darkness when using Permanent Darkness and Explorer mode Fixed an issue where users who don't have access to Dynamic Lighting were unexpectedly able to send their tokens to lighting layer "Send to back" and "bring to front" buttons used by GM's now accurately broadcast updated views to players Please check the Change Log for up-to-date information on releases.
