Hello everyone! I'm kinda new to D&D, and I have this campaign idea for which I'd like to have a DM to be able to execute The outline of the story is as follows: one group assembles to gather the seven crystals before the bbeg can collect them and destroy the World by summoning a god... But here comes the plot twist There joins to the group a mysterious member, who, by the end of the campaign, turns out to be THE bbeg who was trying to gather the crystals, an exiled god whose goal is to use the force gathered from the crystals to ascend back to the heavens yet again, which would result in him destroying the universe The players could eventually, when fighting bbeg, try and convince him to stay a mortal one, and give up on his plans of ascending, so to save the planet Hence why I'm searching for a DM specifically, as this plot twist works only if the DM, and the player roleplaying as the bbeg knows about it The DM would get free range in regards of everything else, from the Worldbuilding to recruitment and the edition (though I'd prefer it be 3.5 or 5 as 3.5 I want to try out and 5 I'm the most "familiar with") and whatnot, but I'd really love to see this in execution :> I'd also prefer if the campaign were beginner friendly as I only had one DnD campaign so far and I'm not VERY familiar with the game as a whole So yeah, thanks for your help in advanced
