AD&D 1e sheet-HELP I messed something up

When rolling an attack w THACO now it is adding some weird macro text and the damage wont roll. Anyone know how to fix? Hi Froth, what is the character's name?  I have seen the macros get messed up when the character name includes something that might be misinterpreted as a mathematical expression.  Specifically parenthesis.  ie "Fredrick (The Orphan Puncher)"
AHHHH I had all of them putting their real names in parentheses! You are such an awesome help!

This came up once before.  If you hover over the character name field there is a little blurb about it. You can try something besides parenthesis and it will probably be fine.  The closing ")" seems to be the main culprit. I might border the field in red if/when the character name includes something that could cause issues just help others avoid this. UPDATE: I've now i ncluded a check when changing the character_name that tests for illegal characters. Specifically ')', ']', '}', or '|'. These may break sheet rolls/macros if included in a character's name. Underscores, dashes, and apostrophes should be fine. #13200 Update pending.
