Pathfinder 1E character sheets resetting information with no apparent cause

My friend group currently has 2 different Pathfinder 1E campaigns, both using the official character sheet, and both DM'd by different people. On both games, some players have had a lot of information from their character sheet deleted seemingly at random, and usually the charactermancer prompt shows up at the same time this deletion happens. On one of the campaigns, it seems to happen more often than on the other. We tried to remedy this by backing up our character sheets using the "Characters (Previously Vault)" tool offered by Roll20 themselves. For some characters this worked, however we ran into a different, but similar and probably related problem. Some of the characters, when imported, show up in the "Characters (Previously Vault)" tool with said information reset, even though their character sheets in game still work, and no matter who imports them, and how many times they're imported, they always have said data reset. This means some characters are reset in the campaign, and some aren't, but can't be imported because their imported version will always be reset. We have no idea what is causing this problem, as it didn't seem to be caused by any action in particular. Further information follows: Every time a character is reset, the information lost is their ability score, their class skills and skill ranks, their money and exp, their entire configuration page, and, if they have spellcasting, the spellcasting page is also deleted as a consequence of the configuration page being reset. They maintain their items, feats, features, traits, and attack macros. Sometimes, whenever we close the sheet and open it again, or when a different person opens it, the lost data comes back, however, that doesn't happen often, most of the time, when the sheet is reset, the information is gone. We have found past reports of this bug. However, none of them had a definitive solution or explanation, only a couple hypothesis, and all of them had been archived with very few responses. On one occasion, a character was imported into the "Characters" tool, and deleted from it, and this caused the character sheet to disappear from the campaign. I am aware that this will happen if the copy was still tied to the campaign, but in this case, it was not, it was, as mentioned, a copy. Currently, we have been trying to deal with this by using crude methods. I have taken multiple screenshots of my character sheet, so if it ever happens to me, at least I'll have an easier time filling it again. I've also asked our DM to make a copy of the whole game as some sort of backup. But even with these methods, it has still been a very big problem and one we have no idea how to solve. Having multiple players be forced to re-make their character sheet, and do so fairly often, has a big negative impact on everyone's enjoyment of the campaign, and so does the constant fear everyone has to be the next victim of this bug. We would greatly appreciate any kind of help.

Hi Bacalhau,  For your character sheets vanishing like this the best bet is to contact Roll20 support. The best method for that is via the Help Center as this is mostly a community help forum.
I see, thank you very much. I was wondering if anyone in the community had found a solution, which is why I posted this here, but I will also try the help center. Thanks again.

Please let me know if they discover a cause. Also please let me know if you don't get a response within a few days.
I just had this occur again in my game today, and I've seen it in the past a few times too. In my cases, it appears that attributes get duplicated somehow. Easiest way to check for this is to search the attribute list for the initialize_character_flag and see if it appears twice (typically way further down the list). From my experience, anything after the 2nd instance of initialize_character_flag is a reinitialized duplicate, typically with 0s and reset information, while the original attributes often still have the correct values. Deleting all of the duplicate attributes (yes, it's a lot of clicking) typically fixes the sheet. I'd suggest making a backup first. I'd be curious to see if you observe the same pattern with these broken sheets. My best guess at what's happening here; not all of us have stellar connections. I think when we have a connection issue when we open the sheet, and it fail to download the attributes, the sheet might be re-initializing the attributes as a brand new character, resulting in the issue. Of course, this is just a theory, I haven't looked at code or anything.
