Token/Monsters from the Compendium not adding the right "data" to token

I am trying to get into DM for D&D 5e, recently bought the relevant compendiums, however whenever I try and pull a monster from the compendium to make it a token it doesn't make the token the right size, it doesn't add it's HP or AC to the token icon. I don't know if its an issue with the MM version of the tokens but when I pulled a Adult Red Dragon from the SRD somehow, the token was correct, size, hp & ac values. Help pls.

Hi Anthony R.,  This is a known issue right now that the Devs have been trying to track down. It seems to occur only to certain games, not all games which has made it more difficult to track down.  Right now the workaround for affected games is to manually set up the token when you drag the compendium to the table.  Please make sure you update the token to the Character in the Journal so that you only have to do it once.

Glad I ran into this thread before I posted my own, happened to me as well with Giant (Huge) Ape.  One of my PC's polymorphed and was totally not ready for it.  Dragged the token out of my compendium and nothing was set either.  Hope they fix it soon.

Yes searched online and its a fairly new development only being like 3 months old so hopefully a fix is found soon.
