Creator Request: Torch Countdown Timer

Request: Looking for a creator to make some animated torch timers. Specifically for games like Shadowdark. The Torch would burn for 1 hour, slowly getting smaller. It would also have a visible countdown. I'm envisioning something we can drag onto map.

I think it would be difficult to do that with just an animated image in the marketplace.  You could definitely do something like that with an API script.

You mean visual indicators for specific increments of time you can drag-out when you say the time occurs, right?&nbsp; Or did you mean a realtime countdown following 60 minutes of real-world clock progression?&nbsp; If it's the first one... There are countdown products on Roll20 Marketplace. You can drag each time-indicator one at a time, or you can make a Rollable Table Token that has all the Times on 1 token and you switch the multi-side to what you want when time advances.&nbsp; <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/5300/eldritch-tracking-countdown-clocks-image-pack" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/5300/eldritch-tracking-countdown-clocks-image-pack</a> <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/27392/fabled-token-timers-1-orange" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/27392/fabled-token-timers-1-orange</a>
It would be nice to have a customizable timer that counts down while visible on the map. And by customizable I mean up to 1 hour or more. It'd be nice if the GM could Pause the timer at any given time, be it via API command or other methods... The only script so far is the hourglass script and thats not a good solution. It ticks down, yes, but you are not able to see the time...

I see, that's interesting Grand DM. AFIK, that does not currently exist for Roll20 yet, never seen anyone do it inside Roll20. Of course you could use your own stopwatch at home, or even point a Roll20 camera at a clock.&nbsp; I'm skeptical of the Animated GIF method for this. There are 2-minute animated GIF countdown clocks in Roll20 Marketplace. Have not seen 60-minutes. I'm skeptical about whether it would actually match real-time or just be a countdown that doesn't necessarily count-down 1 per second. The longer it goes, the more "off" it could become. It might stay on steady realtime but I have doubts (about how fast different web browsers or computers might play-back a GIF frame by frame, and if there is lag or skipping). So a working question here is, does your game matter if 60 minutes is really 60 minutes exactly, or would be OK if the 60-minute countdown seemed to take longer or shorter to reach 0:00?&nbsp; Look into what The Aaron said, he's probably right about the API Mod of Roll20 being able to accomplish this. As a Roll20 Pro you could ask this question again, under the API Mods sub-forum.&nbsp;
We made a post in the API forums. Hopefully something can be made. Lots of games would benefit from a count down timer.
For pro members I notice that the TurnMarker1 script has a count down timer for turns.
