Just breaking in here to suggest Roll20's resources to teach new players. There is a Tutorial , a fake "game" that takes you through all the features of Roll20. When you finish that, a "mortarboard" icon is added to your profile! They also have extensive videos, but some references are to the previous tabletop (Legacy). Roll20 Crash Course – Roll20 Help Center The game's Settings (gear on the top left of the table) include a tab for Keyboard Shortcuts . Some cool ones are that the player can click their token and click Z to get a zoom view of it. The GM can click a token, click Shift-Z and the players all see a Zoom view of that token. Also if players' Tokens are properly set up with Nameplates (a caption of a short form of their name) and made visible to all players with See checked, they can be linked to a character sheet. When that happens, holding Alt and double-clicking a Token opens the character sheet, which is a great command for a GM to zip to their many NPCs to roll dice for combat.
