Problem portait image doesn't change when using "Speaking as..."

This issue only occurs when launching a specific game. It doesn't happen with other games. We've checked everything and haven't found a solution to fix this problem.

Hi Slim! Just making sure, because this has happened to me: Players can choose their character name or their screen name, only one will change the avatar. Check for duplicates or slight variations.

    The avatar won't be changed, it will remain the default one   you use on roll20  (the profile picture of the account) , rather than being changed with the one you are playing as.

So to clarify, there are two elements to this system.  Element 1: The Chat tab, based on your screenshot it appears to be working.  Element 2: the Avatar in the bottom left.  Element 1  appears to be working for you while Element 2 does not.  Which browser are you using?  Are you in Jumpgate?  Which Voice and Video system is your group using? Note: Element 2 works for me in all 3 voice and video options. 

Is there also a player with a Display Name of Xanthe? I see a "Xanthe 2024" farther the chat tab. If there is a player with the character name of "Xanthe 2024", and a Display Name of "Xanthe", this might be confusing the system. I've never checked, but it might be set up to keep one player from accidentally spoofing another. Looking for possible duplication issues.

Without voice and video enabled, Element 2 doesn't work either. Element 1 works correctly. The issue only occurs with the avatar portrait in the bottom left corner. I'm using Opera GX and Google Chrome, and the problem is the same on both browsers. This problem doesn’t happen with other games I have; it only occurs with this one. We don't use the voice and video system. We are participating in the beta, so yes, I believe we're using Jumpgate.

The problem was still present before creating the other character "Xanthe 2024" so I don't think it's a duplication issue. This problem occurss with all the players even the Game Master.

Does it happen when you Speak As an NPC? Or only PCs?

Even using an NPC doesn't work, the portait doesn't change. I think maybe it's a bug that only occurs in this particular game? It seems strange that I can change my portrait in other games, but not in this one.

Sim, I tested this in Jumpgate and was not able to reproduce it.  At this point could you send me an invite to your game so I can come see if I can reproduce it in your game?
