Greetings, Pokemon fans! I'm a semi-experienced DM/GM (3+ years) looking to dip their toes into a new TTRPG: Pokeymanz! This Pokemon-based rpg has a lot of flexibility that the original RPG games don't include. It follows the anime logic more closely, giving players the chance to creatively use otherwise "useless" moves like string-shot to their advantage. Join a group of other newbie Pokemon trainers on their journey through Hoenn. Challenge yourself as a newbie, and pick your path in the expansive Pokemon world. Will you take on the gyms and league challenges? Perhaps you want to be a top coordinator, dazzling on stage! Become a researcher, a breeder, a collector, a myth hunter...the possibilities are endless! My co-GM and I are looking for a relatively small group for our adventure. Extra campaign information is as follows: Character creation rules/restrictions: Available Pokemon are NOT limited to Gens1-3 only. You can have Pokemon from any region/generation so long as they fit the other criteria. Similarly, your character also doesn't need to be from Hoenn. The only region they cannot be from is Hisui, for timeline reasons. Characters start with up to 2 Pokemon in their party. Limits are... 1. Only start with 1 evolved or rare Pokémon IF you have sufficient backstory to explain it being with you. 2. No starting with mythicals, legendaries, Paradox Pokemon, or pseudo-legendaries. You will get one shiny of your choice that you will find along your journey through Hoenn (again, doesn't have to be native to Hoenn). Your character may be considered a "rookie", but you aren't some 10 year old that just started their journey. You're at the beginning of your adventure, but you still have a little experience from traveling. Characters and players must be 16+, as there will be some darker themes present.
