Hi All, I am a new DM setting up a PbP (Play By Post) for Dungeon Of The Mad Mage. The game will be played on Discord + DnD Beyond + Roll20 If you've never done PbP before its especially good for players who love Role-Play as you can really develop your characters a lot through your Posts. Another advantage of PbP is that Sessions are never cancelled because players can post their actions at any time, 24x7. PbP also means that we are not constrained by TimeZone - which is a huge advantage - though obviously The DM will only post when he's awake in his TimeZone - which is GMT +10 (East Coast Australia). Players can, however, post at any time which suits them, so the adventure keeps rolling every day. Discord: Images and Text. DnD Beyond: Character Sheets Roll20: Maps Character Staring Level : Level 4 Players will start with a Feat and (unless you are unlucky on the Dice Roll) a personal Magic Item. Character Classes: Since I am a learning DM doing my first PbP adventure, character options will be limited to the Player's Handbook Classes and Backgrounds available in DnD Beyond.
