Intermittent Memory Leaks In Chrome on Windows 11

I've noticed that most of the time when I hover over the Chrome tab for Roll20 tabletop (Windows 11) it reports around 500 MB of memory usage. But sometimes the usage climbs up and up...increasing by hundreds of MB every few minutes... And the performance gets progressively worse and worse. I've seen it get as high as 3.2 GB. I exit the game. Close the tab. Open a new tab. Reload the game. Usually this gets the game back to consistently using less than 1 GB of memory. Sometimes it leaks memory again, so I have to repeat the close/reload procedure a few times. Very frustrating. Allen
Hi there Allen! Thanks for bringing this up! Do you happen to recall anything specifically happening prior to the increased memory usage? Any specific actions, feature usage, etc.?
Hi, Drespar, Sadly, no. I've been trying to keep an eye out for what triggers it...but no success. I'll let you know if I crack this nut. But since no one else is chiming in, maybe it's not a common problem (even though it happens to me regularly)? Allen
Here's an example of the memory leak problem. The first picture is shortly after I loaded a rather simple map of mine. 1.7 GB! (I've seen it get all the way to 5+GB.) So I closed out of Roll20. Closed the tab. Opened a new tab. Reloaded. Now it's a reasonable 510 MB (Just checked again...down to 287 MB.) This is on Chrome. If there's any log file I can generate when this happens so that you folks can see what's happening, just let me know. Allen
Today I experienced a huge memory leak on a Jumpgate game. Over 5 GB!!! So whatever Jumpgate improves, it does not solve this problem. Allen
