[Powercards] Using $Roll.base with expanded conditionals

The Powercards Wiki says "Currently because of character restrictions (inability to use the "." character), it is not possible to reference the .base, .successes, or .total value of roll IDs (the total is always returned right now). An alternative method for specifying these modifiers is being developed for 3.8.6." Did this happen? We're currently on 3.8.22 I think so I wondered if this functionality was incorporated.  Couldn't find it in the Forum threads, the wiki or on Kurt's YouTube channel.  It would make my life 50% better immediately if there is a way! Many thanks in advance.

PowerCards is not being actively developed at this point, so I would guess that the functionality you're asking about is not going to be available. That said, the MetascriptToolbox can get you things like your successes, or let you do other roll manipulations. The problem is that PowerCards detects inline rolls and re-rolls them. That means that the rolls that would be available to the toolbox to examine/manipulate for you would be different from those that would be displayed in the PowerCards output. I would suggest upgrading to ScriptCards -- it's a more modern/powerful tool built as the successor to PowerCards, and it is being actively maintained and developed. You may find just by moving to ScriptCards that you can do what you need to do... but if not, the metascripts will work with ScriptCards, too, so I can help if you get that far and still can't get over the finish line.

Agreed. You should migrate to ScriptCards & MetaScriptToolbox. You can have all 3 Mods installed at the same time without trouble.  I use ScriptCards for all my 13th Age monsters, and MetaScriptToolbox for 13th Age PC abilities.
Thanks for the tip. I knew I'd get recommendations to switch to ScriptCards! :)  Problem is I've got a huge library of pretty complex PowerCards scripts I've developed so I'm slow to bite the bullet. I'll get there eventually.  Much to my surprise, expanded conditionals already work with $Roll.base. I thought they didn't as the Wiki says they don't but the Wiki hasn't been updated since 3.8.11 so I guess it was added and just not documented.

Yes, logins to the wiki were broken for ages, so Kurt is behind in updating the PowerCards & ScriptCards documentation.
