I'm not the OP, but one example would be the blue banner that's been occupying the top inch of every page on the site for the last couple of weeks. Personally, I'm a couple of days away from just putting a rule in uBlock to suppress notification-banner-info, but I'd hate to miss an actual announcement just because I got sick of having 5e shoved in my face.

I've got my Game Preferences in my Profile, but Roll20 makes no use of them to target announcements to me. They're just leaving that ability unused.

It's even more annoying when doing 2014 char gen because 2024 is broken and a third of the window is taken up by adverts claiming 2024 is 'here' and 'working'.

Alas, I know of no way to filter the bell announcement.
