Please note that I'm not the DM, just a player helping to recruit a full party. There have been legends, for as long as anyone living can remember, of a very magical island being lost to the sea. No one really knows why. Did a clash between chaotic deities cause the disappearance? Did the hubris of its residents lead to the island crumbling and sinking? That information has been lost to time. Lately though, ship crews have reported strange disturbances out at sea, and it must be investigated. Can your ragtag group discover what is going on, and maybe find the lost island itself? You will have to travel into dangerous waters by boat before going into depths to find clues about what is going on. What will you face on your journey? Pirates? Sea Monsters? Sirens? Only those bold enough to adventure forth will find out.
This is a homebrew game for Dungeons and Dragons 5e (2014 ruleset), inspired by the legend of Atlantis. This campaign takes place mostly underwater. Keep this in mind when we create a character together. For species that can't naturally breathe underwater or hold their breath nonstop, the spell water breathing will be cast on your character via a NPC. So don't let the underwater setting limit you, but do keep it in mind and let it add to the creativity of your character.
