In terms of fantasy , I would describe it as the perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream , where the stories tend to focus on world -shattering epics . This is really my own setting , where Elves will be Elves , Dwarves will be Dwarves , and many of the fantasy troupes that you will be familiar with will mostly all be in play , but with a few twists to make it feel interesting and special . Lorebound Genre (In order of importance): High Fantasy . . . .that is it . Keywords (In order of importance): Epic , Grand Scale , & Adventure Visual Description: The visual language of Lorebound can vary a lot depending on where you are , but a very traditional Tolkien inspired fantasy would be the easiest way to describe it . Magic Description: Magic is a facet of life to the setting to the degree it would be involved in everyone 's life to some degree . Not every person is able to use magic , but its wide scale usage would still impact every citizen . Technology Description: Low /None . This is a place where gunpowder is hardly known . There are no mechanical trains , no steam boats , or anything like that . There are airships , but they are magically driven , very rare , and really only owned by the largest militaries in the world . This is one very major exception , which is Warforged . In this setting , Warforged are former mortals who have used themselves as magical machines to try and embrace immortality . Race Restrictions: None .
