About the adventure: Fifteen years ago the stars fell upon the great city of Drakkenheim, leaving behind a meteorite that contaminated the ruins with strange eldritch power. Today, Drakkenheim is a dismal urban wasteland of otherworldly magic, haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artifacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins. Dungeons of Drakkenheim is a fantastic adventure set in a gothic renaissance ruined city where five rival factions struggle for domination. In this campaign character choices matter. Who will you stand with? Who will you stand against? For characters 2nd to 13th level. (The party is currently level 5) Current Party: Elven Arcane Monk Tiefling Cosmic Warlock Tabaxi Smuggler Rogue Damphir Leonin Commander Fighter About me: Discord: lordrah My name is Rob and I've been running games on Startplaying for over 3 years, with over a thousand pro sessions, and running home campaigns with friends for over 30 years. I have a ton of experience and I often bring my own stories, art, and maps to the table. I love storytelling and worldbuilding. I'm very flexible with roleplaying, willing to get into the weeds, or just wing it depending on player style. I'll do voices, but I don't get crazy, nor do I care if others do or do not use them. Tactical combat is fun, but sometimes theater of the mind sets a better scene. I can be funny, silly, serious, or weird, and I'm not afraid to improvise and follow the needs of players, even if that means going off the rails or side-questing on a whim. About my games: $30 per session per player Age minimum 18. 3 hour sessions that meet once a week. I have a DnDBeyond account and can share resources with you if needed. Safety tools. Last week in Drakkenheim... The party has returned to Emberwood Village and earned a reward from the Amethyst Academy for research collected from a malfeasant wizard operating in the ruins of Drakkenheim. It’s the first big score in a while, but it may have come at a cost. The Hooded Lanterns had a troubled trade deal with the malfeasant wizard and his apprentices, and the party promised to help sort it out, but now the deal is as dead as the wizard. The Academy’s representative in Emberwood, a young tiefling mage called River, says she will speak to Eldrick Runeweaver, the archmage with ultimate authority over Academy business in the ruins. Perhaps a new supply for the Lanterns can be negotiated through the Academy, but until that is official the party decides to keep the news of a broken supply chain to themselves. Resting and recovering from delirium contamination, and doing a little home improvement on Eventine Manor, a condemned and haunted manor at the edge of town, the party begins to plan another expedition into the ruins to find a missing Queen’s Man, and perhaps reveal some secrets of Drakkenheim, at a mysterious place called the Black Ivory Inn. To be continued...

Crossing the Drann River northeast of the inner city requires a boatman, and the party visits the infamous Buckledown Row to find one. While bar-hopping they learn of the Row’s underground fighting pits and decide to sign up as a team to earn gold and respect. Their first match goes easy against a group of lesser thugs. The second a little harder. The third pits them against Black Mamba and her crew, which turns into a bloody throwdown! In the end the last man standing is a roguish tabaxi girl and the party makes bank on some big bets. Next up: the mystery of the Black Ivory Inn!
