"Fixed" Hex Grid No Longer Obeys Color or Transparency Settings on Page

For the most part I have been ignoring the "mathematically" correct hex offerings, thinking that it didn't matter for most of my custom maps.

On a whim, I let it "correct" my latest new map.

When I went (as usual) to dim-down the hex overlay on the map layer (the default one is really too much for how I run games and play) and I found that no changes I made to the grid settings (color, transparency, completely transparent) made any difference. I have a stark white solid grid that really breaks immersion for my players.

I tried creating a new map without adjusting the hexes. This also no longer obeys any changes to color or opacity for the hex grid borders. So while it hasn't affected older maps that I have not tried to re-edit for fear it might break them too, I cannot now modify any new map to be less than stark white hard borders.

Any fix for this that anyone knows? I don't look forward to gridless or hex maps with grotesque too-stark overlays.

UPDATE: Changes to grids *will not display* until you *leave that page* and *return to that page* - < workaround.
