With chaos engulfing the world, a group of air ships band together headed by the remaining nations in an attempt to explore the newly risen island. Despite the importance of the mission, the most vital to the cause have to remain on land. As a result, some of the worlds hardened criminals are being given a chance to board the ship and earn their freedom by participating in the expedition. Are you a criminal looking to redeem yourself? Or something else entirely? In this adventure we will discover the secrets of Poia with some of Carthacombe’s best and brightest. Explore ten new monsters, five new ingredients for potion brewing, and a large piece of land with four small towns and a central kingdom to explore. With over 50 voiced NPC’s with different intentions, the Amnesty Express will be taking off as soon as possible! About the DM and the world. Carthacombe and the Story of the Sovereign are things that I have been working on for about 7 years now. I started DM'ing and came up with the initial idea so I wrote a novel. A friend and I expanded on the idea with a one on one campaign inside of the Strixhaven equivalent in this world and from there I gathered up some players online and we have been playing in this world for almost five years now. I have run other groups through smaller campaigns that usually fizzle out but I still have all the information and notes thanks to one of my players whose notes were immaculate compared to my scribbles. The overall story is called Story of the Sovereign because the people in this world with powers are marked at birth with a mark of the Sovereign. It's just a birthmark that people with abilities have in this world but is entirely optional. Sovereign have special access to amenities that normal adventurers wouldn't. I have a few custom mechanics inside of my games that I use such as a herbalist skill that allows the players to make potions using 40 ingredients. Every two ingredient mixture has a unique effect but to figure out what a 3 or 4 ingredient potion and what it's effect would be requires nature and medicine checks. Session 0 and first session are free. Payment will be made with Paypal at a rate of $5/hr. Sessions will be planned for 3 hours but if players are enjoying themselves I'm fine with going up to five hours.
