AC Buff Type & Stacking Help

Hello, I've been using roll20 for the past 8 years with much love and dedication; I'm encountering a glitch where two deflection AC buffs I created are stacking in the temp bonus which takes the character's AC unfairly higher.  The character already wears a +1 ring of protection (+1 to deflection AC) and when I select 1 of either of the two buffs (Protection from Evil +2, Shield of Faith +3) it accurately adds to the deflection AC temp and the total AC goes up by 1 from protection from evil or +2 from shield of faith.  The issue is when I select both buffs the total deflection AC temp bonus turns into +5 when it should stay at +3 max.  The way I've written the buffs to AC are as follows: '+2 deflection to ac', and '+3 deflection to ac'.  I checked the same condition with two different buffs to weapon damage (both using +2 morale to damage, +3 morale to damage) and those do not stack, so I really don't understand why the AC deflections or natural buffs are stacking. Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Hi John L.,  Which character sheet are you using?
Hi Gauss, thank you so much for replying, and I should have added that in at the beginning.  I'm using the Pathfinder 1st edition character sheets.  Please see screen shots if it helps below: I'm setting up buffs for my group members (me being the bard) and of course I don't want non-stacking bonuses to stack incorrectly.  Please let me know if there is anything more I can do to assist in the solution to this, I really do appreciate your time and help! John

Put "enhancement" in the buff.  "+2 enhancement to deflection" "+3 enhancement to deflection" That will limit it to only the best. Without that it is an untyped bonus.
Deflection is a legitimate type in Pathfinder, so it should work as John L. expects.  As a work-around, enter the spell effects on the "AC Items" list and put the deflection bonus under the "DEF" (for Deflection) column. "Equipping" multiple seemed to overlap appropriately.

Just put "enchancement" in the buff as I outlined above.
Thank you SO MUCH!!!  The "+# enhancement to deflection" was the trick!!!  That is such a relief, thank you again!!!
